China basic Alpha-Cypermethrin 10% EC manufacturer exporter and Supplier
Alpha-Cypermethrin 10% EC
Introduction
Alpha-Cypermethrin Insecticide 100g/l EC. Alpha-cypermethrin are highly active synthetic pyrethroid insecticides, effective against a wide range of pests in agriculture, public health and animal husbandry.
Biochemistry:
Alpha-Cypermethrin acts by preventing transmission of impulses along nerves, brought about by blocking the passage of sodium ions through sodium channels in nerve membranes thus preventing action potentials passing down axons. Typically this intoxication results in a rapid "knockdown" and resultant mortality.
Mode of action:
Alpha-Cypermethrin is a non-systemic Insecticide with contact and stomach action. Alpha-Cypermethrin acts on the central and peripheral nervous system in very low doses.
Uses:
Alpha-Cypermethrin can control of a wide range of chewing and sucking insects (particularly Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, and Hemiptera) in fruit (including citrus), vegetables, vines, cereals, maize, beet, oilseed rape, potatoes, cotton, rice, soya beans, forestry, and other crops; applied at 10-15 g/ha. Control of cockroaches, mosquitoes, flies, and other insect pests in public health; and flies in animal houses. Also used as an animal ectoparasiticide.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Alpha-Cypermethrin 10% EC is a contact and residual Insecticide. Alpha-Cypermethrin can be used as a protective agent when applied at regular intervals or as a knockdown treatment to control existing larvae. Best results will be obtained by spraying at egg hatch. Thorough coverage is essential to ensure adequate control. Apply during the cooler parts of the day or night.
Ground Application:
For low volume spraying of field crops with ground rigs, use a total volume of 50 to 200L/ha Alpha-Cypermethrin except for sweet corn, tomatoes and tobacco – where higher volumes should be used. Drop arms should be used on ground rigs in row crops taller than 300mm. The application should be made as a fine spray, preferably using hollow cone nozzles and a droplet size of 150 or 200 microns.
Aerial Application:
Use at least 10L/ha Alpha-Cypermethrin of total spray volume unless advised otherwise. If possible spray in a cross wind. Avoid spraying in calm conditions or when wind is light and variable.
Mixing:
Add the required quantity Alpha-Cypermethrin to water in the spray tank and mix thoroughly. Maintain agitation during mixing and application. Product is compatible with diesel dilution.
