Mancozeb 64%+ Cmoxanil 8% WP

Mode of action- It is mixture of two fungicides- Mancozeb and Cymoxanil. The partner mancozeb acts by its contact action. Mancozeb is fungitoxic when  exposed to air. It is converted to an isothiocyanate, which inactivates the sulphahydral (SH) groups in enzymes of fungi. Some times the metals are exchanged between mancozeb and enzymes of fungi, thus causing disturbance in fungal enzyme functioning. Other partner Cymoxanil is semi systemic fungicide acts many ways. It inhibits spore germination, viability and growth. Immediately after infection, Moximate induces defense in plant system, which results in thickening of cell walls near infection site. Thus invasion and spread of disease in plant prevented

Time of application- Start Preventive sprays of MOXIMATE with onset of favorable blight climate. Early season use of Moximate will reduce disease out-break in later season. If higher blight pressure is expected, Moximate to be followed by Mancozeb + Metalaxyl mixture. Thorough coverage is must for better results

Application Rate- General application rate for foliar spray is 300 grams per 100 liter of  Water. Water Volume ranges between 500 to 1000 liter per hectare based upon crop type and crop stage.

Compatibility- It is compatible with commonly used pesticides. It is not compatible with lime Sulphur and Bordeaux mixture or alkaline solutions

Phytotoxicity- Phytotoxicity has not been reported, when used as recommended
